Wow!

Its been 4 months since we've last blogged! Grown-ups...they're always busy!! Its now the holiday season & its been snowing in Seattle for days. Of course there are no snow controls for the roads so we all have cabin FEVER! My mom recently stopped working (laid off) so she's been staying home w/me. I love it but I think she needs to go back to work. Money...another thing grown-ups always stress about! In the meantime, we spend lots of time together playing & reading & cooking dinners & trying to get ready for Christmas... We have a beautiful Christmas tree & my mom found a way to hang stockings even though we don't have a mantle! More soon!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

I'm 1 year old & I can sing & dance & play all by myself & climb stairs & torture my dog sophie. I'm 17 lbs & 29" tall. I'm healthy (never been sick), happy, have a real passport & have already been out of the country! Watch out guys...I'm a sagitarius!

My parents had a few people over for a birthday celebration + I pre-celebrated in Jamaica with lots of my family. I'm a lucky babe!

Merry Christmas!

My parents took what seemed like 100s of these pictures - trying to capture just one of me and this Santa hat. No way. I wouldn't have it. This is as good as it gets!
BTW, I've just learned how to NOT cooperate so I've been testing my parents lately. So fun...you should have seen how many times I threw this darn hat off!

Joanna & Fred got married in Jamaica!

The wedding was on the beach. It was amazing! Auntie Joanna looked stunning & I walked down the isle with my mom & dad (well, dad carried me).

Just a few pics. More soon!

My Name

STELLA = Italian for "star"
BAE = my mom loves the water, my dad wanted the name "Bailey" so they sort of met in the middle. Stella Bae.

About Me/How I Arrived

Well...the day finally came. 3am on Dec 6 - my mom's water broke. About 20 hours later my mom was ready to push me OUT! I wasn't in to this...I liked it in there, all warm & cozy. And I certainly didn't want to come out with a squished head! So I grabbed that cord thing and squeezed! All the doctors got worried & rushed my mom into the operating room for a C-section. The next thing I know, they were holding me under bright lights! Whhhaaaaaah!
